STAFFING
- We aim for higher than average and higher than state required staffing ratios
- 1 resident attendant (RA) to every 5-8 Residents during waking hours and 1 RA to 7-10 residents at night during sleeping hours.
- The State of Michigan requires 1 Direct Care Staff to 15 Residents during waking hours and 1 to 20 Residents at night
- All of our staff (including kitchen staff) will be required to be trained in safety and operational protocol
- Requirements include: Extensive Background Checks, CPR, First Aid, TB Testing, Physicals, and a multitude of state required training modules for AFC in home care
- Two of our owners are trained resident attendants for Emergency Operations
